Born Invercargill.
Bands - Auroras, Drifters, The Answer, Vision (Original member).
Played Australia 1967, 68 - Jack Walker Group, Peter Lawrence Association.
Toured South Vietnam for the American's NAVSUPAC entertaining troops involved in that conflict in 1968 for five months - survived Tet Offensive!!
Returned to New Zealand - joined 'Chapta' 1971. Won Gold Disc Group Award - three times finalist in Studio One.
Formed 'Link' in 1972 - 'Recording Artist of the Year' (Group) 1973 for original song "Only Time Could Let Us Know". Three time Royal Command Performer 1974 Commonwealth Games - Royal Variety Concert (Queen and Royal Family) - Royal Church Service (Prince Phillip) - Athletes Farewell (Princess Anne).
Played professionally in New Zealand, Australia, England, South Vietnam, Canada, USA & Europe. Have enjoyed high-level career in media and music.
Have taught guitar and vocal in southern region for past 13 years. Currently living in Queenstown teaching - also still playing and singing regularly with partner Kathryn as duo "Dave Kennedy & Kate B"
